When you use Think Bagsy, you agree to our Member Agreement. Please read this agreement. Violating the Agreement may lead to loss of account or a permanent ban.
1. What is Think Bagsy?
Think Bagsy is a neighbourhood sharing platform for the exchange of household goods on a borrowing basis.
2. Who provides the Services and controls my information?
We use “Think Bagsy” “we”, “us” and “our” to refer to our Services.
3. What information is collected?
Some information is required in order to use Think Bagsy and for us to provide the Services. We use this information for the purposes described below.
3.1. From you, or with your permission.
We collect a variety of information from you when you provide it to us directly, when we request it from you, or when you give us permission to get it from a third party source. Here are some examples of these instances:
- Contact details.
- When you create an account on Think Bagsy, you provide your name, address, phone number, email address, and similar information.
- When you list an item on Think Bagsy, you provide details of that item and a photo of the item.
- Social data. If you use Facebook or Google to log in to Think Bagsy, you give permission for Facebook / Google to share your personal information including your name and email address.
- Payment information. If you buy credits on Think Bagsy, you are providing our trusted third party payment processor (Stripe) with payment information.
3.2. From your browser and device.
We collect technical information when you visit or use Think Bagsy or read a message from us. We collect information from your browser, computer, or mobile device. This provides us with technical information, including
- Device data, which tells about the device you’re using. Your device settings affect what information is available to us.
- Log data, which includes the date and time you visited and how you used Think Bagsy.
- Cookie data, which comes from “cookies” so we can remember you and your preferences.
4. How is my information used?
We use the information we have to provide, operate, improve, understand, customise, support, and market our Services. We may also use the information we have for other purposes where permitted by law.

You can modify the information on your profile at any time.
5.1 What are my rights?
This right to access: you have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification: you have the right to request that any inaccurate information be corrected. You have the right to request Think Bagsy to complete information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erase: you have the right to request that Think Bagsy erases your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that Think Bagsy restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing: You have the right to object to Think Bagsy’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability: You have the right to request that Think Bagsy transfer the data we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

6. Is my information shared with third parties?
We can share information with service providers, affiliates, partners, and other third parties where it is necessary to perform the Member Agreement, to provide the Services, or for any other purposes described in this Policy.
6.1. Content shared within the Think Bagsy community.
Think Bagsy is a platform for neighbours to share helpful information with each other. To that end, we make the Items you post on Think Bagsy visible to other Think Bagsy members who search for the item or live in the area. When one of your items is searched for, your first name and approximate distance will be visible to members in the search results.
6.2. Publicly-available content.
Sometimes, we may make some details about activity on Think Bagsy available to the public (for example, notifying our social followings of a new item listing). We will not use any identifying information in these cases.
6.3. Account verification.
We can share your personal information with account verification partners.
6.4. Legal and safety reasons.
We may retain, preserve, or share your personal information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond, based on applicable law, to a legal request; (b) detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; (c) protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety; (d) enforce our Member Agreement or any other agreements we have with you; (e) prevent physical injury or other harm.
7. How long is my information kept?
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Services. We may need to retain some of your information for a longer period, for example to resolve disputes or legal claims, or to enforce our Member Agreement. If you would like to delete the information you provided, contact us.
8. How is my information protected?
8.1. Account security.
Think Bagsy uses technical measures to keep your data secure. However, as with any website on the internet, we cannot guarantee that your personal information won’t be intercepted or improperly accessed. Upon sign up, choose a strong password and do not share it with anyone.

We may make changes to this Policy, and you are advised to review it periodically.
